Massage is a skill, an art, and a science. On a physical level it is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, muscles, tendons and ligaments. But it is so much more than this. On an emotional level, massage can touch you at your very core, helping you to experience deep feelings. On a spiritual level it gives you the experience of remembering who you really are, helping you to connect with your own body.
Each treatment is tailored to your personal needs. I use a combination of ayurvedic, thai, restorative yoga postures and traditional swedish techniques to release toxins, tensions, and emotions trapped in the body. During each session my hands become more seeing than my eyes.
Private Yoga sessions or Yoga Therapy
In addition to massage treatments we also provide 1:1 yoga sessions and yoga therapy. Sometimes a class situation is not appropriate for all people and a 1:1 session gives the opportunity for you to work with a teacher specifically for your needs.
This could be for a particular area of your body that you may have been experiencing problems or pain, or even for a particular yoga pose you just can’t seem to get the hang of!
Yoga therapy has been proven useful for helping with: Asthma, Diabetes, Chronic Fatigue, M.E., IBS, High Blood pressure, Immunity deficiency, Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Coronary problems, Eating disorders, Insomnia, Stress, Anxiety, Panic attacks, or coping with Cancer. Yoga therapy is not a substitute for western medical science, but a growing body of research suggests that yoga may be effective either in reducing symptoms, improving functioning, coping, or improving quality of life.
£60 per hour
£80 per 1.5 hour session
£300 for five sessions (1.5 hours)
